Dr. R. W. "Ben" Benoit has been a resident of Colorado for thirty years and is formerly from Massachusetts.
He is a retired High School teacher, coach and administrator from the Littleton Public Schools in Colorado.
He earned his doctoral degree in French Literature from the University of Kansas, did post-graduate work in France at the University of Bord-eaux and Toulouse and at the Universities of Michigan and
Denver.

When Ben retired and became interested in writing Historical Fiction, he found that the genre was just the ticket to fill a gap in his twilight years. The discovery of history as the skeleton of potentially fascinating true stories resulted in publishing three novels based on family history. He has now turned his attention to American history, using the same craft to add flesh and emotions to its characters, and color and intrigue to its times and situations.
